A chiropractic office just for you.

Kate Engelhardt, DC, DACCP

In my fifteen years as a family chiropractor, I’ve cared for many people looking to make a change in their health and life.  I know it’s not always easy.  It can be a struggle to keep up with all the demands of life, work, family, and responsibilities to focus on your own health. Many of us question whether we are worth the time or effort when there are so many other important things in life.

I know that feeling!

Work, family, chores, taxi rides, and a long to do list. Whether I noticed the stress or not, it was creeping up on me and taking its toll. And I realized that I couldn’t give away what I didn’t have. It was time to make sure I was healthy and feeling my best for years to come. I have spent the last 15 years working with others in this same position by meeting them where they are at and supporting them to feel better and live how they want to.

Chiropractic care has been the foundation for all other health goals in my life. Even after almost 20 years of chiropractic care ( I didn’t start until my mid 20s), I still notice improvements and stress relief with my chiropractic care. I can give more to others with energy and ease.

I’ve built my practice on empathy, honesty, and positivity.

I know that every stage of life brings a brand new set of goals and challenges. I would love to help you.

Perinatal Care

There are so many aspects of being a chiropractor that I love. My passion is helping other women in all stages of life and especially during pregnancy.

I received my diplomate, the highest level of training, in pediatrics and prenatal care in 2008. I am Webster Technique Certified. Caring for expecting mothers has been a huge part of my practice for over 15 years. Many mothers find me through their birth provider or birth professional, their chiropractor who doesn’t have the training, or referrals from friends.

I am fortunate to work alongside top notch birth providers, midwives, lactation consultants, doulas, dentists, and others in the area.

I have seen Dr. Kate through my entire pregnancy and I give her all the credit for keeping me generally pain free at almost 9 months! She is so thorough and explains everything so you always feel comfortable. This office is so clean and welcoming. I would never go anywhere else!

Pediatric Care

Chiropractic care is a common choice for supporting the growth and development of newborns, infants, and children. I hold a diplomate in pediatric care, the highest level of training in the field.

Caring for the health and wellbeing of children is common in my practice. While the ultimate goal of chiropractic care is to support function and development, parents also report help with: birth trauma, Erb’s palsy, motor function concerns, latching difficulties, tightness and colic, favoring, sensory, chronic illness, torticollis, ear infections, development concerns, focus and attention, athletic injuries, and posture concerns.

Our daughter started seeing Dr. Kate at a month old. It has been an excellent experience for all. Kind, caring, gentle, with a strong foundation of research and best practice.
